Thuraya-3 satellite successfully launched

Thuraya's third satellite ‘Thuraya-3’ has doubled Thuraya’s coverage to include major markets such as China, Japan, Korea, Indonesia and Australia. It was launched on January 15 at 11.49 GMT.
This expansion towards east Asia is supported by Vizada, named ‘2007 Best Service Provider’ in April 2008 out of 120+ Thuraya service providers.
Local Vizada teams and service providers have been pre-selling Thuraya services since the launch of the satellite.
